joel (what? again? yes. again.)

what i had:
appetizer: socca, eggplant caviar with braised veal, arugula salad
main course: summer “pot au feu”, raifort cream
dessert: some off-the-menu chocolate dessert that they made for me :)

what dave had:
appetizer: crab spring roll, tartar sauce
main course: glazed shrimp, shitake tortellini, thai coconut broth
dessert: apricot millefeuille, perrier-thyme sorbet

what marina had:
appetizer: peeky toe crab cake, apple curry sauce
main course: baked halibut, soy beans, artichokes, spring vegetable broth (???)
dessert: some type of millefeuille with some awesome ice cream

wine:
i had a 3 course pairing, so i don't remember what the wines were, except that they were all amazingly paired. they fit well together like a hand in a glove. even the dessert wine - a wine that i am not really privy to went well with my chocolate dessert. my goodness, i'm sounding like a snob.

anyways, going again friday with aileen and bizarro andy & aileen.
