joel (company party... we rented a private room and got a private tour of the kitchen!)
what i had:
appetizer - sauteed breast of quail with lentil salsa and daikon radish
main course - baked halibut
dessert - chocolate tart, pistachio ice cream
what aileen had:
appetizer - salmon sashimi, sushi rice, dashi broth, mustard ice cream
main course - beef tenderloin with artichokes and bordelaise sauce
dessert - pavlova, exotic fruit sorbet
wine:
2001 crane lake chardonnay
2003 crane lake merlot
(and some pinot noir based french wine...)
