Bacchanalia

what i had:
pre-appetizer - butternut squash soup
appetizer - ahi tuna something
main course - roast duck breast something
second course - swiss cheese with shredded fuji apple something
dessert - chocoate something
2nd, 3rd, 4th dessert - small pastry things.

wine - carmous (sp?), pinot noir, 2002 - definitely a favorite.

so in all, i had an 8 course meal, although the post-desserts were very tiny, but very good. however, this restaurant was not as good as joel. joel was much better by far. maybe i'm biased, but i think i just expected a lot more. don't get me wrong, the food was excellent and i would definitely come here again. the atmosphere and setting was awesome, with a very small private dining area that was probably as small as the kitchen itself.
