joel (for aileen's bday)
1st course: foie gras with pear chutney
2nd course: seared scallops with truffles, chicken jus, parmesan tomatoes, leeks
3rd course: baked rouget with eggplant and cracker
4th course: lamb loin with red wine reduction and spring onion tortellini
5th course: pstachio and chocolate mousse
6th course: praline napoleon with lemon sorbet
wine pairing with each course.
again - this place never ceases to amaze me. at the end of our dinner, the waiter came to us and said, "joel would like to take care of your dinner tonight. no charge." unbelievable. also, i'm not a fan of the rouget but scallops, but they prepared it in such a way that it was so good, i'd have it again and again and again.
